Jonathan David Helser is a worship leader and songwriter whose heart bleeds to see a generation get wrecked by the love of God. The songs he sings comes from the journey he has taken. The albums he has recorded come from his collisions with God's love.
He lives in Sophia, North Carolina with his wife Melissa and their two lovely children. He leads a multi-generational ministry called "A Place for the Heart." For the last ten years Jonathan and Melissa have pioneered and led a summer camp and creative worship school called the "18 inch journey."Molly Skaggs is someone who is deeply passionate about making music. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, she moved to North Carolina in 2007 and began working in the worship department at Morning Star Fellowship Church as a staff musician, worship leader, and music teacher in the worship school of M.S.U.. She is currently living in community at A Place For The Heart in Sophia, North Carolina, having her heart wrecked by the Father's love on a regular basis. It is her hope that somehow she can inspire other musicians, writers, and all-around lovers of music to fall deeper in love with the incredible gift that the Father has given to them! Her primary instruments are the piano and her voice, but she is also having a blast learning guitar, banjo, accordion, ukulele, and the penny whistles.
Joel Case is a beloved son, a worshipper who lives in Sophia, North Carolina , where he serves on staff full time at “A Place for the Heart,” Joel has a passion for music, worship, creating new songs, and the Lord. He also plays drums with Jonathan David and Melissa Helser. He gets to travel the world with the Helser's and other great friends doing what they love: playing music, encountering the presence of the Father, and meeting wonderful people. What a deal!
Jake J Stevens lives in Sophia, North Carolina and serves on staff at "A place for the heart." Jake picked up a guitar when he was a young boy and has been in love ever since. Jake travels full time as a guitar player for Jonathan and Melissa Helser.
Christopher Comfort is a multi instrumentalist, who lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. For the past 1.5 years he has traveled with Jonathan and Melissa Helser playing bass and serving on their ministry team. Chris loves to bring the funk through music and sometimes through dance. Sometimes he is known as the "dancing machine."
